Changes

As many things do in life, my path has recently changed. Diverted? Shifted course?

I've just graduated in May and recently gotten engaged, and now I've taken a summer job at a grocery store. Am I the only graduate in the world who had to take a less-than-ideal job after graduation? Certainly not. Am I happy about it? Certainly not. But it's one of those things.

My fiance is in the Military, and due to some trainings we have been mostly out of contact on and off for a few months (except when we had a short visit and got engaged, of course). Essentially, we have no idea what the Army will choose to do with him. He could be stationed anywhere. So I'm going to be a cashier, and work on my career once my fiance is in a more stable situation.

Good luck to all the other Military significant others out there in a similar situation. I'll let you know how I make out.
