The Campus Center for Appropriate Technology (CCAT) and the Humboldt State University Extended Education Program
August 22, 2016 – May 5, 2017 (Fall 2016 and Spring 2017 semesters)
Co-developed and implemented course syllabus for weekly 2 hour classes, including daily activities, lectures, group discussions, film screenings, guest speaker presentations, and fieldtrips. Discussed topics such as Net Zero Energy and explored alternative methods of sustainable residential design, including hands-on work with Superadobe, Cobb, Hempcrete, Papercrete, and Natural Paint.
